Orpheus started in 2008 as side project of Chris then in (End’s In Torment) and as Joao’s first band. Shortly after the idea was spawned Matt, Milky and Sasha joined the band and Orpheus was born.
In just a few short years, ORPHEUS have quickly established themselves as a rising star of the Australian metal scene.
After releasing their E.P, ‘So It Begins’ in 2009, their unique take on the Melodic Death Metal genre and immersive live shows have seen the band gain much momentum, with their music spreading across our shores and beyond.
Now, Orpheus is ready to release their long awaited debut album, ‘Bleed The Way’. The band has taken over two years to write and perfect their sound and create an album that will please any fan of heavy riff laden and keyboard driven death metal.
